About the PTFA

The PTFA raises money to provide extra resources, equipment or other projects that are not covered by the school's LEA funding. It is a non-profit organisation and all money raised goes back to your school and benefits your children. The target over next few years is to continue raising funds and our biggest aim is to provide an undercover area for outdoor learning allowing the children to access the outdoors throughout the year.

The Committee

The current committee is made up as follows :

  • Chairperson –Claire Brookes and Emilie Marlow
  • Treasurer - Emilie Marlow
  • Secretary - Eleanor Carr
  • ... and many other members and volunteers. If you would like to help out, the committee is always looking for new helpers and committee members, so please feel free to come along and get involved. Autumn Term 2016 Update

The PTFA have had a busy December. We held 2 fundraising events; Festive Friday alongside Rocky Reindeers. Raised a grand total of £72.00 with a generous donation from rocky reindeers, which was greatly received. 

We collected 260kg of textiles for 'Phil the Bag' and raised £91.00

Our big raffle made a profit of £576.70. Some amazing prizes were won and an extra special thanks to Elenor Carr for organising.

In 2016 we made a total of £750.17 and have spent money on the key stage 2 trip to @bristol, resources for key stage one, revamping the outside area with plants and new surface, a film afternoon at Hawkchurch and the Christmas party.

We are looking into other fundraising events so keep at look out on the notice board for up coming events and how to support your PTFA.

We shall be having our annual General meeting soon so please come alongside, support and join our parent committee. Watch this space!
