Intent: Using their creativity and imagination, design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts, considering their own and others’ needs, wants and values.
Children use their growing technical knowledge to design, make and evaluate to solve real life problems. Design and Technology is taught as a termly unit. Like art, other opportunities may occur to consolidate some the learnt skills in other aspects of the curriculum.
