PTFA Christmas Film Night

This Saturday we are holding a Jumble Sale at Seaton Methodist Church.  There are lots of ways you can help, we have a job for everyone! On Friday 1st April we will be sorting the clothes ready for the jumble sale at school, from 8.30 - 10.00. Please come along and join us if you can. Do you have a large car or van? We need to transport the clothes from school, to the Methodist church, and back again. Any help with this would be appreciated. Clothes ( bagged ready to go) can be collected from school on Friday or Saturday, and delivered at 1pm Saturday. The surplus clothes will need collecting at 4pm from Seaton, and delivering back to school before Monday 8am. Setting up in the hall - 1pm - 2pm, Saturday 2nd.  Packing away 4pm - 4.30pm. ( we are very short of helpers for packing away! Please come and help if you can). During the jumble - we need help to run the tombola, make tea and coffee, and help everything go smoothly. If you can’t make it on Saturday, then you can still help by donating a cake, spreading the word and sharing the event on social media. We need everyone to help get people through the door - if you would like some flyers to go up or to share at your children's classes and activities please get some from the school office or ask Daisy. There is a Facebook post you can share from the PTFA page, or the parents Facebook group. If you have any spare hangers, carrier bags or paper napkins we would appreciate them! Please drop to the office or bring on Saturday. Thank you for helping to make this event a success - it is the first fundraising event we have run for two years and we can’t wait to see you there, and raise lots of money for the long awaited playground project, please see photo below.  All children who come along with someone who is helping get an Easter treat - if you need dairy free please let Daisy know in advance. About the PTFA

 

The PTFA raises money to provide extra resources, equipment or other projects that are not covered by the school's funding. It is a non-profit organisation and all money raised goes back to your school and benefits your children. The target over next few years is to continue raising funds and our biggest aim is to provide an undercover area for outdoor learning allowing the children to access the outdoors throughout the year.

 

The Committee

The current committee is made up as follows :

  • Treasurer - Vicky Hoggarth
  • Secretary - Kate Norman
  • Community - Kay Short 
  • ... and many other members and volunteers. If you would like to help out, the committee is always looking for new helpers and committee members, so please feel free to come along and get involved. All funds raised help benefit your children and your school.
