Intent: To understand chronology and use sources to ask questions about the past.
Our curriculum overviews identify when each area of the history national curriculum is taught. In every unit we revisit chronology of key historical events. Each unit is supplemented with resources / secondary sources to support the children’s learning. We engage with the local community, local museums and other agencies such as Historic England to enhance our provision.
